Happy 2010!!
Well, it's four days into the New Year and I'm off to a crazy start. I got a call today from a production manager who told me that I had been referred to them and that they were looking for a dresser to start this Wednesday for a six week run.
The production is Cirque du Soleil's Kooza.
Kooza is going up in the OC Great Park in Irvine and running six nights a week (with only Mondays dark) through February 14th.
The last time I worked as a professional dresser was for Musical Theatre West's Pajama Game. It looked something like this:
I can steam clothes and not mind the blisters. I can quick change an incompetent male lead like lightening. But I can't sew for shite. Hopefully no one will figure that out..
So between Kooza, J. Crew, the potential internship (they should know within the next couple of weeks if there's a place open) and the jazz class, this year is off to a fabulous start.

Dude! That's freakin awesome. Wish I could be there and then go see it and then have dinner with you and you can tell me which acrobats are straight. :-D
