This is something I rarely - and I mean rarely - do, but the occasion calls for it, and so I will rise to the challenge. Girly freak-out moment. In 3, 2, 1..
One of the best friends I have in the world is getting married in two days and I couldn't be more excited. I have my last day of work tomorrow and then the moment my shift ends at 2pm my universe will officially revolve around Lindsay for the following 48 hours. Ty has spent the last two days putting together a wedding slide show of Lindsay and Michael and friends and family and it's quite fabulous. The rehearsal is tomorrow afternoon in Laguna Beach and the rehearsal dinner is tomorrow evening in Dana Point. The ceremony is on Friday at 6 in Laguna Beach.
Lindsay is the person I have known the longest since moving here. She was the person I hung out with every day for a year in 8th grade, and then the four following years in high school doing shows and going to Disneyland and hanging out at her house. Our families were really close and we hung out all the time. She is one of my best friends and will be for the rest of my life. I've known that she was getting married for months, but it's finally starting to hit me this week. I can't believe she's doing it. This is the same person I used to hang out with when we were 15, listening to music and talking about crushes and cute guys and kisses. And in two days' time she'll be walking down that aisle to Michael and she'll be Mrs. Esquerra.
Weddings make me laugh at really inappropriate times. And I'm reading the love scripture at the ceremony. This does not bode well.
