Update

Lindsay and Michael's wedding was amazing! Lindsay was absolutely gorgeous and the whole evening was perfect. I'll post some photos soon.

I turned down the internship in New York for the one in Seattle (it was the less expensive option and seemed like the best plan) and then I received a letter from the INS about my paperwork which, long story short, means that I really need to be in California until the whole process is over. Can't even begin to describe how frustrated I am but that's the way it is right now.

Still in Orange County. Certainly not the worst thing in the world, but it's really hard to stay put here when all I want to do is get my life moving and start achieving some of my goals. I just don't think I can do it from here. At best, I need to be in LA or NY. At worst, I at least need to be in a city where I can get around and where there are more theatres. I'm going to get a job in the meantime and try to save up $ (the holidays are coming up anyway) and I'm still going to apply to internship programs that begin in January. I've only been unemployed for about two weeks, but for those of you who remember how stir crazy I get when I'm unemployed, you can imagine how well it's going :) Ty is in the same boat, and consequently we've been cooking and watching a lot of t.v. (Grey's Anatomy, The Big Bang Theory and a lot of Friends). This visa process could potentially take up to 6 months but I'd really like to be up in LA in January, so I think I'm just gonna have to play it by ear and go with the flow. There is theatre here, it's just a bit more sparse and few and far between. I still feel very positive and motivated. I've just got to get through these last few obstacles until I can move and do as much as I can in the mean time.

Don't you love how the weather is starting to change for autumn? The cool breeze and the colours and soon the darker evenings and a chill in the air. I love this time of year.

-K
