A week off! It's an absolute novelty. Last night Ty and I went to Sutra with Kooza people for the closing of the Irvine run. It was turned into a club with house music and strobe lighting and was pretty fantastic. Today I'm celebrating my "vacation week" today by staying home in my pyjamas, cooking food and watching telly. Perfecto. Then for the rest of the week I'm going down to SD to look at a sublet, packing everything, going for a coffee date with Lauren, dropping by UCI to finally pick up my drama diploma (seriously..it's time.) and following that with a trip to the pub, LNP, seeing the high school crew and, if all goes according to plan, moving to La Jolla on Saturday.
I also finally got to watch a performance of Kooza on Saturday. I sat in the dead centre in an aisle seat about 7 rows back: it was amazing! All the clowns found out where I was sitting so every time they came into the audience they'd come by and throw stuff at me or hassle me or put popcorn in my hair. And I had to pretend I didn't know them so the people sitting next to me thought it was really weird. I loved finally being able to watch; it was my first Cirque show, not counting watching the video in Cliff's 120 class (at which point I vividly remember deciding that I hated Cirque du Soleil because it sounded like the 80s..the same way Andrew Lloyd Webber does).
I pierced my ears again last week for the hell of it. Since then I've never been so aware of the top of my ears in my life. And how often people find reasons to hit you once they know that. Bastards.
