One Shot DayQuil, Chase With RockStar

The breakfast of white trash champions.

I was walking to work the other day (a nice 5 and a half mile hike) and as I was crossing the street some twat in a car yelled out "Hey! White Trash!"

Who are you? Is this 1995? Is that still cool? We'll never know.

Today is once again my day off - the first of not one, but two days off from work! This hasn't happened in over a month, so I'm pretty excited. This weekend was a little rough. On Saturday morning my allergies decided to attack my face with a barrage of nonstop-to-the-point-of-embarrassing sneezing, itchy throat runny nose and streaming eyes. On Saturday night my allergy-stricken face got hit with a cold, adding a dry cough and cracked, incredibly sore throat. I looked a hot mess. We had double shows Friday, Saturday and Sunday, so to get through and combat the allergies I hit the Claritin, then a shot of DayQuil with a RockStar chaser. Needless to say, I made it through the weekend.

On an actually serious medical note, Cal broke his arm a couple of days ago. He was skateboarding and slipped in the rain and landed on his arm. They kept him in hospital overnight and he had surgery the next morning. Poor kid's a gimp with a sling now. He's so good, though, didn't cry or anything.

It's Rob's birthday on Thursday, he's turning 18! Madness.

So this is my last week in San Diego and I'm pretty excited. The show closes on Sunday, then I'll be heading back up to OC on Monday, probably stay there a couple of days, then up to LA for a night maybe Tuesday/Wednesday, then Portland. Or something like that. I'm looking forward to Portland but truth be told I'm more excited about finishing in May and going home to England. Liz and I are planning a trip to London that will be nothing short of epic.

Here's Amber and me going mental with the laundry last Sunday night.

The Sunday night that included ordering a delivery pizza to the circus tent. Cuz that's just how we roll.

Kate and Amber's plans for Portland include locating the nearest KFC, a Back to the Future marathon, Mystery Science Theater 3000, and lots and lots of beer. The cry of the laundry people. Hear it ring.
