Draaaacula!

This weekend Mum and I went camping in Whitby with her friend Liz, Liz's daughter Hannah and Hannah's friend Rianne. We left on Saturday morning and it was the most beautiful drive through the countryside to the north-eastern coast. We camped at Beacon Farm which has a view of the sea and the abbey in the distance. As soon as we got there all I could think about was Dracula and how in the novel he washes up in the Whitby harbour at night. It was awesomely creepy.

When we got there we set up the tents and then drove down to the harbour and on to Robin Hood's Bay. Here's a view from the top of the hill:

On Sunday we drove over to Scarborough and Filey. It rained most of the day but it was still nice to be at the sea. The next morning we cooked breakfast, then packed up and drove back to Tamworth. It was nice to be able to spend some time with my mum. Good weekend!
