Downtown

On Monday I had the day off from work, and what better way to spend the sunniest day of the week than Downtown Portland!

Since the transportation system here is absolutely awesome I decided to jump on the TriMet and follow the Main Line through the city to get my bearings and do some sightseeing without getting lost. 

So, starting at the bus stop, as I usually do..

I crossed the Ross Island Bridge with the most gorgeous view of the Island..just look at those clouds..

...and headed towards the mountains and trees..

...because I like trees. See?

...then the bus looped back around to Downtown..

..where I hopped off the bus and headed towards Pioneer Square!

..where they have a Court House..

..so I stopped for a while to look at this..

..and to enjoy this!

Then it was back to walking around for a few hours..

..stopping occasionally..

..until it was time to head back home to get ready for this the next morning..

..but not before giving hope to all those who have ever died of Dysentery.
